iDASSmart™ LCD Screen allows forensic pathologists to examine digital representations of real bodies in minute detail by manipulating digital bodies using touch and finger gestures similar to procedures in the classical autopsy. Using data provided by scans of an actual body, the screen allows the user to remove layers such as skin and muscle, add or remove tissue and circulatory systems, zoom in and out and cut through sections with a digital knife.



The smart touch LCD screen consist of a 52’’ LCD screen with multitouch (single user) capabilities, embedded computing CPU and touch recognition system withIntel R Intel core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz, DDR2 8GB processing power. The screen supports HD 1920*1080 (16:9 Aspect Ratio) number of pixel. It has a multitouch tracker and a two tier middle-ware to render the functionalities of the iDASS™module multitouch responsive, whereby visuals and images can be manipulated by finger touch and finger movement on the screen of the hardware. Multitouch tracking module is the core software that allows the CPU to track and recognize finger touches on the screen.
